Ramgarh: 2 CISF personnel among five die in two separate road accidents

Ramgarh, April 18: Three bus passengers died tragically in a bus-trailer collision on Monday while more than a dozen passengers were badly injured.  The passenger bus Golu Rath hit the trailer standing on the Kuju Murpa four lane from behind.

The collision was so strong that the left side of the bus flew away.  After the accident, the whole area was shaken by the screams of the passengers.  It was told that a passenger died on the spot when the passenger bus named Golu Rath (JH 02 AQ 5753) collided with trailer number – JH 02 AH-1561. Two others died while being taken for treatment.  More than a dozen passengers have been seriously injured.  The injured were immediately sent to Sadar Hospital Ramgarh.  The driver and other personnel of the bus fled after the accident.  The bus was going from Hazaribagh towards Ramgarh.

During the rescue work, the blood-soaked body of Pramod Kumar Srivastava (47), a resident of Bhurkunda, was found.  Among the injured sent to Sadar Hospital, Savita Devi (57), Shyam Kumar Singh (50), Noorjahan (40) and Salim Ansari (42) were referred to RIMS, Ranchi in view of their critical condition.  Salim and Savita died on the way.  All three bodies have been sent to the Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

In another accident, two CISF personnel died in a road accident in Patratu of Ramgarh district late last night.  They were hit by an unknown vehicle.  After the accident, they were brought to the hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead after investigation.  The deceased have been identified as constables Dharampal (45 years) and Arvind M, working in the PVUNL CISF unit.  They are from Kerala.
