Ranchi, April 27: A girl’s body appearing to be in her twenties was recovered from a forest in Angada, which is about 30 km from the Jharkhand capital.

The partially connected neck of the body suggests that the girl was killed by an attack on her neck by a sharp edged weapon. ‘Maa’ is written on the left hand of the girl. Her face sustains stone injuries.

A police official at Angada police station said that the body was recovered yesterday evening on getting information from a villager and then sent to RIMS today for autopsy.

“Body has not been identified so far. It is a clear case of murder. We are waiting for the autopsy report to get some more clues to proceed further in the case,” the police official said.

S.P(rural) Naushad Alam could not be contacted for the comment.
