Ranchi, May 4: Running from pillar to post for proper treatment for six years, a 44-yr-old Fulo Devi got relief from the tumour that had made the condition of her eye miserable.
This happened after the RIMS neurosurgery department operated on her tumour behind the eye and in the lower part of the brain.
Dr Vikas of the neurosurgery department shared the success saying one eye of the lady had come out and that she was unable to see things comfortably.
“The lady is from Sikidri. After she did not get proper treatment she met Dr. Prof. CB Sahay, who in association with RIMS Ophthalmology Department completed the operation successfully. The tumor had spread around. This was a rare type of operation. The team included Dr Ashok and, Dr Rohit Bharti besides Dr Sahay and me from neurosurgery department and Dr Jennifer and Dr Sindhu from ophthalmology department,” he said.
