Hazaribag, May 8: An injured deer today entered the village in Keredari making villagers catch the animal and they tied it with a rope. The deer had fractures in both its legs near the knee. The deer has been captured by the team of Forest Department Barkagaon and is being treated in the veterinary hospital.
The Forest Department team has informed that both the leg bones of the deer have been broken. This deer had entered Karali village under the Keredari police station area. Villagers said a deer venturing out in villages here is not a new thing. Deer enter our village every year in summer in search of water and this is one such case, added one Manoj Mehta.
Forest officials said once this injured deer recovers from its injuries in the coming days, they will release it in the forest again.
