Hazaribag: DAV excels in National Science and Math Olympiad

Hazaribag, May 9: Students of DAV Public School, Canary Hill, have won the National Science Olympiad organised by the Science Olympiad Foundation. A total of 24 children have received the Gold Medal of Excellence certificate in this examination. In the International Math Olympiad also, children have proved their mettle. A total of 14 children got the Gold Medal of Excellence and 15 children got the Certificate of Distinction with Gold Medal in this examination. A child has also received a cash prize of Rs 500 in this examination of the second level.

Jharkhand Zone D’s ARO Dr Urmila Singh, Vice Chairman of the Local Management Committee Mr Dinesh Khandelwal and other dignitaries of the city congratulated the students for this excellent performance.

The teacher in charge of the school Kavita Pandey congratulated the students and wished them a bright future.  Physics teacher Aditya Kumar has also been thanked for his hard work and for guiding the students.
