Ramgarh, May 21: A road accident occurred on Ramgarh-Bokaro road NH-23 near Ramgarh Court located in Chattarmandu on Sunday. Here a speeding car hit a bike hard from the front. The bike rider father and his son were seriously injured in the accident.
Both were referred to Medanta Hospital in a critical condition after first aid at Sadar Hospital with the help of local people. But both Father and son died during treatment.
The deceased include Bhim Mahto (55) and his son Pradeep Kumar Mehta (22), residents of Kundrukala village in Ramgarh block. Both were coming to Ramgarh’s vegetable market at around four in the morning to sell vegetables by riding a bike.
The accident was so serious that the bike was blown away after the collision. At the same time, the front part of the car was damaged. The occupants of the car were also injured. Police seized the accident car and bike.
Another incident took place in the Chutupalu Valley on the Ranchi-Patna road. The accident took place at a spot marked as a black spot in the valley at around 5 am on Sunday.
An uncontrolled trailer coming at a high speed from Ranchi hit a trailer from behind. The driver and the helper sitting in the cabin of the trailer were badly injured.
After getting information about the incident, Ramgarh police reached the spot and informed the rescue team of NHAI. Police also called for a private hydra and took out the driver and the helper trapped in the cabin of the trailer after a lot of effort.
The driver died in the accident. While Tamil Nadu resident Khalasi Subhash Kumar was referred to RIMS in critical condition after first aid at Sadar Hospital.
