Ramgarh, May 21: A one-and-a-half-year-old girl, who was playing near her residence in village Karimati under Orla Panchayat of the area, mysteriously disappeared on Saturday morning. Her
body was recovered late evening from the septic tank of the nearby neighbour’s residence. Kuju police took the body in their possession and sent it to Ramgarh Sadar Hospital for postmortem. According to the information, Himanshi Kumari, the one-and-a-half-year-old, the only daughter of Manohar Kumar Mahato, was playing near her residence at around seven in the morning.
Himanshi Kumari suddenly disappeared mysteriously while playing. After the information of the disappearance, the relatives searched the surroundings and neighbours’ houses, but she could not be found. In this regard, the aggrieved father while giving an application to the Kuju OP police, pleaded to find the missing girl child. After the information, Kuju police started an investigation under the patrolling campaign in the area.
During the search late evening, the body of the girl child was found in the septic tank of Girdhari Mahato’s residence under construction nearby. After which its information was given to the Kuju OP police. OP in-charge Vinay Kumar reached the spot, seized the dead body and sent it to Ramgarh Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Here, there is a wave of mourning in the house of the relatives after the dead body was found. Relatives are in bad condition by crying. OP in-charge Vinay Kumar told that the investigation is being done. The cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem report comes.
