Buldana, May 23: After a bus struck a container in Buldhana, Maharashtra, on Tuesday, at least six persons died and numerous others were injured.
At around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, the event took place close to the Palaskhed Chakka village in the Sindkhed Raja tehsil of Buldana district.
The bus operated by the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation was travelling from Pune to Mehkar when it collided head-on with a massive container coming from the opposite direction.
“A total of six people have died while 15 more are injured. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment,” said Keshav Wagh, Sindkhed Raja police station officer.
