30 lower class clerk to be appointed in Ranchi Collectorate, DC issues order

Ranchi, May 28: Ranchi Collectorate, which has been facing a manpower shortage for a long time, will appoint 30 lower-class employees. Ranchi DC has issued an order regarding this. According to the issued order, on the basis of the state-level merit list of the Combined Competitive Examination 2017, on the instructions of the Jharkhand Staff Commission, 30 lower-class clerks will be directly appointed in the Collectorate.

Examination of educational certificates and other certificates for appointment will be done on June 6. According to the information, the JSSC had taken the clerical cadre exam in the year 2017. Six years have passed, but to date, its result has not been released. The matter is pending with the government to date.

The personnel of the Collectorate cadre are reinstated by the State Staff Selection Commission. From here the list of vacant posts and roster of reservations is sent to the commission. After this, the examination is taken by taking out the advertisement for the reinstatement. Then the merit list is prepared and the Commission is sent to the Deputy Commissioner. On the basis of the merit list, only the Deputy Commissioner issues the appointment letter as well as the posting. As per the policy of the Government of Jharkhand, only local residents can be reinstated in the Collectorate Cadre in Jharkhand. Without a residential certificate, these posts cannot be applied.

In the District Collectorate, there are posts of Revenue Sub-Inspector, Amin, Steno, apart from third and fourth class personnel. Their controlling and planning officer is the Deputy Commissioner (DC). The personnel of this cadre are posted in the collectorate, subdivision office, all block and circle offices. Apart from the Collectorate, there are 22 circle, 18 block and 02 subdivision offices. Here 332 posts of employees are approved, but 260 employees are employed in the entire Ranchi district. There are 114 sanctioned posts in various offices of Ranchi District Collectorate. But only 81 employees are working. 33 posts are still lying vacant in the offices. There are 157 sanctioned posts in total 22 zones. But employees are working on 101 posts only. There are 56 vacancies in the zones. 25 posts of Amin are approved in the zones. But only 14 Amins are working. Remaining 11 posts are lying vacant. 14 posts of Kanungo area are vacant in the zones.
