Ranchi, May 28: Political parties in Jharkhand expressed mixed feelings about the President being denied the opportunity to inaugurate the new parliament building in New Delhi.

The Aam Aadmi Party members resorted to fast near the Raj Bhawan as an act of disrespect for the President of India Droupadi Murmu. Black Day was observed by left-wing political parties, social organisations, progressive writers, journalists, and tribal organisations. Congress quickly followed the suit.

The BJP expressed its delight at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inauguration of the Temple of Democracy.

“Congratulations to respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the 3.25 crore people of Jharkhand for providing the country with such a grand and appealing temple of democracy, complete with Indian culture and architecture. Your creative and determined nature will be remembered by future generations. Any government or common person could not imagine such a grand and divine historical construction in such a short period of time. This gift is being given to the country on the occasion of Veer Savarkar’s birth anniversary. This is a fitting memorial to a patriot. Congratulations to all the workers and employees who completed the construction of the Temple of Democracy,” said Raghubar Das, former chief minister of Jharkhand and BJP national vice president.  Other BJP leaders agreed with him.
