Dhanbad, June 5: Anil Gupta and Rana Ravi Singh were unanimously elected president and general secretary of Laghu Udyog Bharti, Dhanbad district for the 2023-25 term on Sunday evening.

At the meeting of Jharkhand State Laghu Udyog Bharti held at Agrasen Bhawan, Hirapur on Sunday, besides the president and general secretary, Rahul Dokania was elected new treasurer of the entrepreneurs association. Four working committee members Jawahar Choudhary, Vinit Lohariwal, Punit Tulsian and Anil Verma were also elected unanimously.

Former national president of Laghu Udyog Bharti and present organization’s East India in-charge Om Prakash Mittal who presided over the conference said that Yogendra Tulsian has accepted the responsibility to be a patron of the organization.

Laghu Udyog Bharti Jharkhand general secretary Vijay Chhabaria on the occasion shed light on challenges being faced by the entrepreneurs of Jharkhand and stressed on the need for expansion of the organization in the state. He, on the occasion, called upon entrepreneurs to join in the organization in the interest of all.

Newly elected president Anil Gupta said that industries in Dhanbad are facing lots of problems like power crisis and land to survive. “ We have to take responsibility for bailing out entrepreneurs from the present crisis and would help them to run on a fast track. Power is a major crisis. Entrepreneurs are facing land problems to set up the industry. So, we would meet the government for creating a new industrial area in Dhanbad and provide land to entrepreneurs at cheap price for the congenial industrial environment,” said  Anil Gupta.

Gupta said that the flourishing industries would also increase job opportunities and check the exodus of youth.
