Jharkhand CM gives tips to DCs, SPs on how to maintain law and order in State

Ranchi, June 16: Chief Minister (CM) Hemant Soren held a high-level meeting with deputy commissioners (DCs) and senior superintendents of police (SSPs) and superintendents of police (SPs) in the presence of senior officials regarding law and order in the state.

During the meeting, he gave several instructions to the officials in order to review the control of extremism-crime and illegal mining and drug trafficking. He asked the police officials to strengthen the relationship between the police and the public to ensure the maintenance of law and order.

The CM was of the opinion that by improving understanding, working style, information system, creativity and vigilance, improvement of law and order is possible. He asked them not to be worried about resources for the maintenance of law and order saying that the government was ready to provide the same according to the need of the hour as the maintenance of proper law and order is his top priority.

The chief minister asked them to make a strategy to deal with future challenges before boosting their morale by saying it was the result of better policing and strategy that extremism is under control in Jharkhand. He expressed his commitment to providing safety to society.

The CM suggested them to prepare a database of anti-social elements to take prompt action in case of tension. He asked DC and SP to establish better coordination.
