Dhanbad, June 16: The Jharkhand Sports Authority (JSA) would hold a two-day badminton talent hunt trial at Ranchi Mega Sports Complex from June 23 to 24.
As per the circular released by Jharkhand Sports Authority executive director Sarojni Lakra, the selected players (boys and girls) of the state would be imparted special training to develop their skills, stamina and other aspects to excel at the national and international stages.
The guidelines said only the Jharkhand players who have completed 16 years and are not more than 22 years of age can participate in this talent hunt trial. After the selection trial, the selected boys and girls would be provided free of cost training.
For participating in the trial, the player must have a certificate of playing recognised by state, national, international and all India Inter University competitions or have won a medal.
Birth certificate, Aadhar Card or 10th Board certificate are essential for participation in the two-day trial.
