Dhanbad, June 19: Anusha Thakur, an independent researcher from Dhanbad, has got the best women researcher of the year award (below 35 years) in the “4th International Inspirational Women Awards- (IIWA) 2023.
The 4th International Inspirational Women Awards- (IIWA) ceremony was organized by GISR Foundation in recognition of the exceptional calibre and outstanding performance of women across the world in New Delhi on June 17.
Over 2500 nominations had come from all walks of life across the globe for this award that recognized extraordinary women in which Anusha Thakur and 66 others were selected. She was the only individual hailing from Jharkhand to get an award in this international event.
The GISR Foundation recognized Anusha Thakur for being a young pioneer in the field of research.
Anusha is the daughter of Dr. (Prof.) A.K. Thakur, head of the ENT department in Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH), Dhanbad. She is an independent researcher with nearly 20 solo research papers published in reputed books and journals across the world.
Earlier in 2020, she was the recipient of the prestigious 25th Gourmand Award for her published works including a chapter on ‘Market for Plant Based Meat Alternatives’ in the book titled ‘Environment Health and Business Opportunities in New Meat Alternatives Market’. This book was considered number one in the category of vegetarian writing in the world and won “National Winner in Australia” in 2019
.
One of her published chapters had got selected by IGI Global’s executive editorial board for inclusion as a reprinted chapter in the book “Research Anthology on E-Commerce Adoption, Models, and Applications for Modern Business’ on the topic “Impact of Mood of the millennial customers on purchase of apparels online” by “Information Resources Management Association (USA)”.
