Ranchi, June 20: NatFoE-2023, the Indian National Academy of Engineering’s flagship event, will be held on the 24th and 25th of June this year at BIT Mesra in collaboration with the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) under the auspices of the “INAE-SERB conclave on ‘Atmanirbhar Technologies Engineering Secured Future’.”
The goal of this event is to foster knowledge exchange and inspire young intellectuals to create engineering marvels. Jayant Sinha, a BJP parliamentarian from Hazaribag and a former Union Minister of State for Finance and Civil Aviation, will be the event’s chief guest.
Mining Technology: Mastering Depth and Exploration; Future Technology: AI, GPT, and Robotics; Engineering Water: Smart Water Harvesting and Purification; and Embracing Futuristic Technologies in the Current Engineering Curriculum are the four thematic areas of the event.
On June 26th, the event will feature IMP-2023 (Innovation in Manufacturing Practices), a national-level project competition with 39 speakers from various institutes. It is open to all Engineering students and practitioners in three categories: undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD. Scholars, to showcase their projects centred on advances in engineering technology in the manufacturing sector.
A total of 18 entries will be shortlisted for presentation at IMP-2023, with a national committee of INAE specialists selecting the top six teams. Each category will receive a cash prize of 40,000 as the first prize and 20,000 as the second prize.
Rahul Purwar, secretary of the Jharkhand higher and technical department, will be the chief guest at IMP-2023.
