Hazaribag, June 21: Kolkata Pinjrapole Society and Sidhu-Kanhu Seva Sansthan, which have been playing a leading role in the field of cow service for 136 years, laid the foundation stone of CPS Sidhu-Kanhu Vidyapeeth and Hostel at Sitagarha Gaushala premises on Wednesday. The foundation stone laying ceremony was done by Mahamandaleshwar Sukhdev Das of Nirmohi Akhara, RSS functionary Ramdutt Chakradhar, president of Pinjrapole Society Ramesh Saraogi and others. Avatar Singh of Sikh society, presidents and chiefs of four dozen different caste groups belonging to Hindu society also participated in the ceremony. Members of the tribal society completed the foundation stone.
Addressing the ceremony, Ramdutt Chakradhar said that it is auspicious in itself to have such activities on Yoga Day. Mahamandaleshwar Sukhdev Das said that today we all have forgotten cow service and guest service which, he said, is wrong. Along with the establishment of Vidyapeeth, Atithi Devo Bhava, Gau Seva will be established once again in Gurukul and these values will be developed in children studying here.
Addressing the establishment ceremony of the Vidyapeeth, the president of the society, Ramesh Saraogi, said that for the first time, it is felt that this is not a cowshed but a Gau dham. He said the Vidyapeeth with hostel facilities is being established with the aim of promoting the Gurukul system. CBSE board-based education will be given to 2000 children in this school to be built in the Gaushala premises, he informed. There, residential arrangements for one thousand children will be available. Indian culture and civilization in the residential campus, or rather, the complete glimpse of Indian ancient Gurukul will be seen here. This school will be unique and excellent in itself, amidst the beautiful valleys of nature in about 22 acres of land, he added amid huge clapping. Shraddhanand Singh, secretary of Gaushala Pinjrapole, introduced the subject in the foundation stone laying ceremony.
Even donations came for the establishment of this school with Rajya Sabha MPs Aditya Sahu and Deepak Prakash announcing to give Rs 50 lakh each from the MPLAD funds. Sadar MLA Manish Jaiswal also announced to give one crore rupees to the Vidyapeeth from his MLA head. MP Jayant Sinha announced to give Rs 50 lakhs. CP Jaina Rs 10 lakhs, Krishna Agarwal Rs 10 lakhs, Harsh Ajmera Rs 21 lakhs, Shraddhanand Singh who is Gaushala’s secretary cum organizing head, gave one crore and Om Prakash Gupta announced to give Rs 5 lakhs.
