Hazaribag, June.26: Fifty school children will take free ride of Vande Bharat express from Hazaribag to Koderma station when Prime minister Narendra Modi flags off this train on Monday. Even 50 children from Koderma will take a ride upto Gaya junction. This express train will connect the two state capitals saving time of commuters in travelling any of the two destinations.
Sources said 50 students of the two schools will take a free ride of this train after Modi flagging it off on Monday from Hazaribag. The 50 students will take ride upto Koderma station enjoying the scenic beauty on this rail route. Station master of Hazaribag railway station, S. Rizvi said 20 students of Sarswati Vidya Mandir and 30 of DAV public school will get this opportunity.
In Koderma, 50 students of Sainik school Tilaiya will take ride of this express train to Gaya. Railway officials said 100 children from Ranchi schools will take the journey upto Mesra. All these school students are 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders.
Railway officials said this train will ply from Ranchi to Patna via Hazaribag for six days in a week excluding Tuesday. They said the online booking has started for this train.
