Jamshedpur, June 26: As many as 18 trains will remain cancelled tomorrow i.e. June 27 due to track maintenance work at Bahanaga Bazar Station of Kharagpur-Bhadrak Section in Kharagpur division of South Eastern Railway.
Notably, the Bahanaga Bazar Station at Balasore in Odisha was in the news on June 2 when around 300 passengers were killed in the tragic triple train mishap.
The accident has badly damaged the tracks, signalling and other equipment.
The trains which will remain cancelled include Balasore-Bhadrak MEMU Special, Howrah Bengaluru Express, Howrah-Puri Shatabdi Express, Howrah-Bhadrak Express, Kharagpur-Khurda Road Express,
Kharagpur-Jajpur Keonjhar Road Express,
Shalimar-MGR Chennai Central Express, Shalimar-Visakhapatnam Express,
Santragachi-MGR Chennai Central Express,
Bhadrak-Howrah Express, Jajpur Keonjhar Road-Kharagpur Express, Puri-Howrah Shatabdi Express, Bhadrak-Balasore MEMU Special, Khurda Road-Kharagpur Express,
Secunderabad-Shalimar Express, Puri-Shalimar Express, Sambalpur-Shalimar Express and Villupuram-Kharagpur Express.
Some trains would also run in a diverted route due to the maintenance job.
18477 Puri – Yog Nagari Rishikesh Express, journey commencing on June 27, will run on diverted route via Jharsuguda Road while
18478 Yog Nagari Rishikesh-Puri Express, journey commencing on June 27, will also run on a diverted route via Jharsuguda Road.
