Ranchi, July 1: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today summoned mines owner Krishna Saha on July 5 in a case of illegal mining.
The action has been taken following a mining incident in which two labourers had died during drilling at a mining site at Champandey hill.
The deceased were identified as Mithun Kumar, a resident of West Bengal, and Sapat Mandal, a resident of Ganeshpur village in Barharwa.
The incident took place at Patna under the Ranga police station.
On July 8, 2022, the ED team raided Saha’s location at Munia Hotel. On the same day three locations of three other stone traders were struck. They included Bhagwan Bhagat and his brother Bhavesh Bhagat at Barharwa Main Road and Subroto Pal living at Lolo Palace at Kushwaha Tola.
