Ranchi, July 12:  Chief Minister Hemant Soren today demanded the State’s share under various schemes from the Central government during a meeting with the NITI Aayog team. Apart from this, the CM also raised the issue of coal royalty.

A secretariat official informed this saying that the CM made it clear that developmental work of the state gets affected due to delay in receipt of the amount allotted to the state under various schemes and proper attention is required to be given to this.

The CM also raised the issue of GST share and expressed his concern over delay in its payment. He also expressed his concern over the disrespect to the suggestions given by the State during the Niti Aayog meeting.

The CM said that under the federal system, the central government should pay equal attention to all the states and disrespecting the same will put the federal structure of the country in danger.

Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh and secretaries of all departments were present during the meeting.
