Ranchi, July 17: Businessman Vishnu Aggarwal, whom central probe agency ED had summoned to question in a matter of land scam today, did not turn up before the agency.

He cited poor health as a reason behind non-appearance.

A source close to the ED said Agrawal will be summoned soon.

“ED will send summons to Agrawal again and call him for questioning. Before this, he has appeared for questioning twice,” the source said.

Agrawal is accused of buying one acre of land on Cheshire Home Road on the basis of fake documents. The ED has arrested many, including an IAS officer, Chhavi Ranjan, in this connection. Those arrested included those who helped in generation of fake documents and then paving the path for sale and purchase of land.
