New Delhi, July 19: Anjna Panwar, Vice Chairperson of the National Commission for SafaI Karamcharis, today presided over a review meeting of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) in Paryatan Vihar, Patratu.
H.N.Mishra, Director (Pers), CCL, Rashmi Dayal, GM (P&IR), CCL, Rajesh Mohan, GM (TA), Alok Kumar, HoD (PR) and others attended the review.
Speaking on the occasion, Panwar stated that sanitation workers play an important role in keeping our environment and surroundings clean and contribute significantly to the Government of India’s ‘Swachch Bharat’ mission. She went on to say that all efforts should be made to ensure that they have access to the necessary facilities. She further added that when the entire world was rattled by the Covid-19 outbreak, the sanitation workers provided invaluable service to society by keeping the surroundings clean.
Panwar praised CCL for its efforts to ensure the holistic development of various sections of society. She also emphasized the importance of ensuring that the children of sanitation workers receive the finest education possible and that they do not suffer as a result of a lack of resources. She also emphasised that quarterly health check-ups should be done for the sanitation workers and an I card indicating the blood group should be issued to every sanitation worker.
A PowerPoint presentation that highlighted the company’s various activities was also presented on the occasion by CCL.

Director Personnel, CCL H.N. Mishra welcomed the Vice Chairperson and stated that every member of the CCL family recognizes the difficult work of sanitation workers and that CCL is committed to ensure sanitation workers’ welfare. He further added that CCL will implement the different instructions given by the vice chairperson.
