Tata Steel lent cutting-edge crane technology for successful launch of Chandrayaan-3

Jamshedpur, July 20: Tata Steel is proud to be a part of the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3, as the company’s state-of-the-art crane technology enabled the assembly of the mission’s “Fat Boy” – LVM3-M4 rocket.

The advanced crane was manufactured at Tata Growth Shop in Jamshedpur.

The company’s cutting-edge crane technology played a crucial role in the seamless assembly of the launch vehicle used in the landmark lunar mission.

Tata Steel supplied the remarkable Electric Overhead Traveling (EOT) Crane which was installed at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre – Sriharikota ISRO.

Through its contribution to the launch of Chandrayaan-3, Tata Steel reaffirms its commitment to fostering India’s technological advancement and growth.”

” We are honoured to be a part of the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3, as our state-of-the-art crane technology enabled the assembly of the mission’s “Fat Boy” – LVM3-M4 rocket. Our cutting-edge crane technology played a crucial role in the seamless assembly of the launch vehicle used in the landmark lunar mission and it was manufactured at the Tata Growth Shop in Jamshedpur, ” said a message posted by Tata Steel on social media.

Shubhendu Chakraborty, who lent support in the crane technology said, “I am a proud member of Team TGS for this ISRO project. Congrats and best wishes for Team TGS. ”

Another member Abhishek Kumar Sharma’s FB post said, ” Proud that my team has installed this crane.”
