Talking to reporters outside Raj Bhavan after the meeting, the Congress leader said, the Governor listened to our views and agreed to them. He expressed grief over the incidents of violence and said that a delegation of all parties should visit Manipur to talk to the people to end the mistrust between the communities. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary told that the MPs will present a report in Parliament about the situation they saw in Manipur. He said we have requested a discussion on Manipur in Parliament amid the worsening situation every day.
A delegation of 21 MPs from opposition parties reached Manipur on Saturday to take stock of the ground situation and met the victims of the caste conflict that has been going on for almost three months in the state.
