New Delhi, August 5: Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, congratulated Surya Pratap Singh Banshtu on his recent bronze medal in the 50-meter shooting competition at the World University Games held in China.
Banshtu visited the Chief Minister in New Delhi today with his father, Virender Singh. The Chief Minister praised Surya Pratap for his great accomplishment in the international arena and for bringing honour to the nation.

The Aradhana Shooting Club in Rohru, which is managed by the Sports Authority of India, fostered Surya Pratap’s rise to success.
Surya Pratap demonstrated extraordinary talent and tenacity in the sport of shooting while being coached by his father, who has been honing his abilities for the past seven years.
Surya’s record of accomplishments now includes a Bronze medal from the World University Games. Previously, he had won a Bronze medal in the same event at the World Championship in Cairo, Egypt, as well as a Silver medal at the Junior World Cup in Sulhe, Germany.
