Srinagar, Aug 6: The encounter between security forces and terrorists has been going on for the second day since Sunday morning in Gundha-Khawas village of the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. The police have advised the general public to stay two kilometres away from the spot. Police in Rajouri have issued an advisory today on Sunday. People have been asked to stay away from the encounter site in view of their safety.
Notably, the presence of terrorists was reported on Saturday in Gundha-Khawas village of Budhal area after which a small team of policemen conducted a search operation by laying siege. Meanwhile, an encounter started between the security forces and the terrorists. After this, the soldiers of the Army and Central Reserve Police Force also joined it. In this encounter, the security forces killed a terrorist, although the body of the terrorist has not been recovered yet.
