Ranchi, Aug.10: BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi expressed his concern over the ‘insult’ to the Jharkhand’s martyrs and great revolutionaries at the World Indigenous Day function organized by the state government.
Marandi said that crores of rupees were spent in the promotion of the ceremony, but no place was given to the personalities like Sido Kanhu, Chand Bhairav, Tilka Manjhi, Bhagwan Birsa Munda in the posters and banners.
He said that in the arrogance of power, when the rulers start disdaining the brave revolutionaries, then their downfall is certain. He said the JMM was running under the directorship of the Soren Raj family like a private limited company.
He said that in the name of glimpses of tribal festivals and life philosophy, the father and son who became billionaires by looting the land of tribal people are showing their glimpses on the streets of Ranchi.
The former chief minister said that the people of Jharkhand will never tolerate the insult to their great personalities. He said in the next elections, the tribal society will punish them for their actions and teach them a lesson.
