Deoghar, Sept 11: RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav today said that the INDIA bloc parties will brainstorm to select candidates for the 2024 parliamentary elections in New Delhi from September 12 to September 14.
Addressing a press conference today after offering prayers to Lord Shiva here, he said that Tejashwi Yadav will represent Bihar and the representatives of the other 28 parties will also attend the meeting. He said that he would visit other areas of Bihar.
Targeting the Central Government, Lalu said that the condition of the country is not good. “Poverty, inflation, and unemployment exist and people are becoming victims of hunger. Just ahead of the election, the price of LPG has decreased,” he pointed out.
The RJD supremo blamed PM Narendra Modi for cheating the people. He claimed that Modi will be dethroned in the coming elections and his departure is certain this time. He said that the central government is violating the Constitution and the central govt is adamant about erasing the name of Baba Saheb.
Citing the results of the recent by-elections, he claimed that the BJP will be wiped out in the coming elections. Lalu said that he has prayed to Baba Baidyanath to give them power and block all roads that make easy going for PM Modi.
Recalling the Karnataka elections, he said that the PM used to start election speeches by taking the name of Bajrang Bali but Bajarang Bali smashed him with his ‘Gada’. “We also do puja but we do it selflessly” he stated.
While talking about his health, he said that he has returned after getting treated abroad. “But the biggest doctor is Baidya Baba Baidyanath. “He called me and that is why I have come here to worship because no one can come unless Baba calls,” he said.
Responding to Lagatar24.com on the name of the groom of the INDIA bloc, Lalu said that he would be selected. On the issue of the G-20 meeting, he said that this conference is not useful for the public. “What is the general public going to get from this programme? This is a waste of money,” he said.
