Deoghar, Sept 16: Once again, the name of Deoghar MLA-cum-party president of BJP district unit Narayan Das has not been included in the list of guests invited to attend the Fourth Foundation Day celebrations programs of AIIMS Deoghar on Saturday.
Infuriated, a faction of the district unit of BJP burnt the effigy of the Director of AIIMS Deoghar N K Arora under the leadership of BJP Nagar president Chandrashekhar Khawade at the Tower Chowk on Saturday.
Khawade has blamed the director for ignoring not only the MLA but the general public of Deoghar.
He blamed the AIIMS management for misusing the public’s money in the name of treatment. He claimed that the amount of Rs 5 crore is used for salary payments in a month but after four years of the inauguration of AIIMS, hardly two surgeries are done in a day. The Management of AIIMS has diverted from its core duty and indulged in participating in seminars and other events to remain in the limelight, he blamed. Not only this. Different works are allotted to agencies of other states and even locals are not getting job here, he added. He has demanded a high-level inquiry into the matter.
Notably, Governor C P Radhakrishnan was invited as chief guest and Dhanbad MP P.N Singh as a special guest on Saturday on the eve of the Fourth Annual Foundation Day Celebrations.
