ISIS terrorist Rahul alias Umar produced in Ranchi NIA court

Ranchi, Sept 16: Suspected terrorist Rahul Sen alias Umar, associated with the Jharkhand module of ISIS, arrested from Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh, was today produced in the special court of NIA located at the Ranchi Civil Court. Now, the NIA will interrogate Rahul Sen alias Umar by taking him on remand.

Notably, the NIA raided nine locations in several states on Thursday regarding the module of terrorist organization ISIS in Jharkhand. During the raid, a suspect Rahul Sen alias Umar was also arrested from Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. This module was formed with the aim of spreading terror in Jharkhand. In this case, a student of Aligarh Muslim University was arrested from Lohardaga. In the month of July, the NIA arrested a youth named Faizan from Lohardaga. While studying at AMU, Faizan came in contact with ISIS extremists and joined the organization. The NIA on Thursday arrested Rahul Sen alias Omar alias Omar Bahadur after raiding nine locations in six states. Along with laptops, pen drives, and mobile phones, documents related to ISIS have also been recovered.

Umar was in constant touch with Faiz

Ranchi team of the National Investigation Agency i.e. NIA had arrested Rahul alias Umar from Khajuri Deora village from Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. It is alleged that Umar was in constant contact with Faizan, who worked for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. Like Faizan, Umar was also continuously conducting terrorist activities through social media.
