Hangzhou, Oct 3: In the men’s canoe double 1000m event at the current Asian Games in Hangzhou on Tuesday, India won a bronze medal.
Arjun Singh and Sunil Singh of India combined to take third position and the bronze medal. The Indian pair completed the men’s canoe double 1000m race in a time of 3 minutes and 53.329 seconds.
Shokhmurod Kholmuradov and Nurislom Tukhtasin Ugli of Uzbekistan won the gold medal after finishing in 3:43.79 minutes.
Timofey Yemelyanov and Sergey Yemelyanov from Kazakhstan secured the silver medal, recording a time of 3 minutes and 49.991 seconds.
