New Delhi, Oct 11: Union Minister Anurag Thakur announced that the Union Cabinet approved the creation of an autonomous body ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ (MY Bharat) on Wednesday. MY Bharat will act as a general enabling mechanism powered by technology for youth development and youth-led development.
The body aims to offer all young individuals fair opportunities to realize their goals and contribute to the development of a prosperous India through various government initiatives.
The main goal of ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ is to make it a “whole of government platform for youth development,” Thakur stated while briefing the media on the decisions made by the Cabinet.
On October 31, the date of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth, the body would be dedicated to the nation, he stated.
