New Delhi, Oct 15: A constable stationed at Shahdara Police Station allegedly took his own life by shooting himself at around 2:30 am, according to Delhi Police.
In 2022, Manjeet was appointed as a constable in the Delhi Police and assigned to the reserve battalion situated within the Mansarovar Park police station.
According to information provided by the Delhi Police, Mandeep pulled out a weapon on Saturday night at 2:30 am and shot himself three times. The police officers gathered when they heard the sound.
The authorities are looking into the case by examining the conversations found on the constable’s mobile phone. As per the Delhi Police, Manjeet was facing family-related issues.
Further investigations are currently ongoing.
