The Mizoram Congress Committee head, Lalsawta, has been nominated as a candidate in the Aizawl West-III (ST) constituency, and Lalnunmawia Chuaungo has been chosen to represent the party in the Aizawl North-I (ST) constituency.

Lalrindika Ralte will be running as a candidate in the Hachhek (ST) constituency, Lalhmingthanga Sailo in Dampa (ST), and Lalrinmawia in Aizawl North-II.

The Mizoram assembly, consisting of 40 members, will undergo a one-phase election on November 7, with the vote counting scheduled for December 3.
