Chikkaballapur, Oct 26: In the Chikkaballapur region of Karnataka, an accident on National Highway 44 near the traffic police station resulted in 12 fatalities and one suffered critical injuries, police stated on Thursday.
Details indicate that the accident happened on National Highway 44 between Bengaluru and Hyderabad at 7:15 a.m.
In response to the accident, the police mentioned that a Tata Sumo car collided with a truck on the highway, resulting in the immediate death of 12 individuals.
The police official stated that one person who was injured had been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
According to the police, those involved in the accident were residents of Andhra Pradesh’s Penkonda district.
