 Jharkhand CM hands over job offer letters to 5132 youths in Palamu

Ranchi, Oct. 31: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said that employing the youth of the state is the priority of the government, be it in government or the private sector.

“At every level, youth are being connected to various aspects of employment on a large scale. This trend will continue further,” he said.

Soren said this while giving offer letters to 5132 young men and women selected by various institutions at a regional employment fair organized in Daltonganj today. He said that the government is committed to showing the youth the right direction, shaping their future, and paving the way for a better life.

The chief minister said that during the last two and a half months, offer letters have been given to 27,000 youth through the Regional Employment Fairs. Offer letters were given to 10,020 youth in the first divisional employment fair organized in Chaibasa on August 18. At the same time, in the second Divisional Employment Fair organized in Hazaribagh on September 11, 11850 candidates and today in the Palamu Divisional Employment Fair, 5132 youth got the opportunity to get offer letters.

The chief minister said that today doors of employment have opened from all sides in the state. In this series, appointments are being made on a large scale for vacant posts in government departments. More than 20,000 youth have received appointment letters. At the same time, the recruitment process for about 40,000 posts through JPSC, JSSC, and other mediums is going on at a fast pace.

Government help for competitive exam preparation and courses

The chief minister said that we are not only providing employment to the youth but are also providing them government help to prepare for competitive examinations as well as pursue courses like medicine, engineering, and law. Apart from this, skill development training is being given to the youth. “Our effort is to employ the youth here within our state,” he added.

 Farmers’ fields, barns, and livestock are their bank account

The chief minister said that Jharkhand is counted among the backward states of the state. “The farmers and laborers here are poor. They do not have any deposited money. They earn every day and eat every day. Their fields, barns, and livestock are their bank account, he added.

The chief minister asked the farmers to join the Birsa Harit Gram Yojana and increase their income by planting fruit trees on their land.
