Ranchi: Voting for the first phase of Jharkhand Assembly elections began at 7 AM across 43 constituencies and will continue until 5 PM. Ranchi Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Chandan Sinha, accompanied by his wife Kanchan Singh, cast his vote at Booth No. 383 in the Kanke constituency of Ranchi. SSP Sinha assured voters of stringent security arrangements and encouraged everyone to participate enthusiastically. His wife, Kanchan Singh, echoed this sentiment, urging residents to step out and vote.
High Voter Turnout in Tamar Constituency in Ranchi District
As voting progresses across five Assembly constituencies in Ranchi district, Tamar leads with a voter turnout of 14.97% by 9 AM. Other areas reported turnout as follows: Ranchi at 10.05%, Hatia at 11.3%, Kanke at 10.95%, and Mandar at 14.85%.
