Ranchi: Ranchi Police initiated a series of coordinated raids on Friday morning at Sarla Birla School, Usha Martin, Angara Resort, and a BJP leader’s residence following a tip-off about large amounts of cash being stored in these locations.

This action comes shortly after recent raids at GD Goenka Public School and YBN University in Ranchi’s Namkum area, where authorities seized substantial cash. Acting on similar intelligence, police are now conducting fresh searches across several prominent spots in the city.

The Ranchi Police teams commenced their operation early in the morning, deploying officers simultaneously to multiple locations. Along with the previously targeted educational institutions, they have added these new spots to the list of suspected locations in their intensified search for illegal cash holdings.

The investigation is aimed at uncovering unaccounted money and any other illicit materials, and further details on the findings from today’s raids are awaited. Authorities stated that this crackdown is part of an ongoing effort to curb illegal financial practices in the region.

Police officials emphasized that this operation is part of a broader initiative and assured strict action against any individuals involved in illicit cash storage or other unlawful activities. Following the success of prior raids, the authorities expect significant outcomes from today’s action as well.

Local residents have shown support for the police’s proactive approach, expressing hope that it will bring down illegal activities in the area. Police have appealed to the public to report any suspicious activity, promising swift action in response.
