RANCHI: The second and final phase of the Jharkhand Assembly elections concluded on Wednesday, with results slated for November 23. Among the 1,211 candidates vying for 81 assembly seats, four former police officers have contested to secure their political future. These include ex-IPS officers Rameshwar Oraon, Ajay Kumar, Arun Oraon, and former DSP Navneet Hembram, who are contesting from Lohardaga, East Jamshedpur, Sisai, and Maheshpur constituencies, respectively.
