Ranchi: BJP MLA Purnima Das criticized the state government for not fulfilling its election promises. Speaking to the media outside the Assembly, Das pointed out the absence of key commitments in the supplementary budget, calling for immediate action to implement them.

Focus on Gas Cylinder Price Promise

Highlighting a major election promise, Das said, “The government had assured gas cylinders at ₹450 during the campaign. However, there is no mention of this in the budget. I urge the Chief Minister to take swift action to make this a reality.”

Concerns Over Women’s Welfare Schemes

Das also expressed disappointment regarding the delay in implementing women-centric schemes. “During the election, the government promised to launch the Maiyya Samman Yojana for women. Yet, after coming to power, these promises have been sidelined. Women’s welfare schemes must be prioritized and brought into action immediately,” she said.

Call for Accountability

The MLA emphasized that the government must honor its commitments and take the necessary steps to fulfill promises made to the public. “The people trusted these promises during the elections. It’s time the government proves its sincerity by delivering on them,” she added.
