New Delhi: Security agencies have sounded an alert in Bihar after receiving inputs that three Pakistani terrorists entered the state through the Nepal border. Bihar Police have released their passport details and announced a ₹50,000 reward for information leading to their capture.

Police On High Alert Across Border Districts

Motihari SP Swarn Prabhat confirmed that vehicle checks are underway across border areas and all district police stations have been directed to stay on high alert. “People have been urged to report them to the police if they see them anywhere… We are fully alert,” he told ANI. The trio is suspected to have entered Bihar via Araria after arriving in Kathmandu earlier this month.

Passport Details Of Suspects Released

The three wanted men have been identified as Hasnain from Rawalpindi, Adil from Umerkot, and Usman from Bahawalpur. Both Rawalpindi and Bahawalpur are known strongholds of Jaish-e-Mohammed terror operatives and were previously targeted by India under Operation Sindoor. Police headquarters has circulated their names and passport photos across all districts, warning that the suspects may be planning an attack.

Wider Security Concerns

Sources suggest that the terrorists travelled to Kathmandu in mid-August before crossing into Bihar. Their presence raises concerns about possible strikes in the poll-bound state or elsewhere in India. Additional forces have been deployed, and surveillance has been intensified along vulnerable stretches of the Indo-Nepal border.
