A major box office clash is set for March 19 as Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 and Yash’s Toxic prepare for simultaneous release. Early online interest trends suggest that Yash’s film is currently leading in advance audience engagement.

‘Toxic’ Dominates Advance Interest

According to reports from online ticketing platform BookMyShow, Toxic has garnered approximately 4.33 lakh advance interest clicks, significantly higher than Dhurandhar 2, which has received around 1.65 lakh. These figures indicate stronger pre-release buzz for Yash’s film at this stage.

However, industry analysts note that advance interest does not always translate directly into box office collections, and the real outcome will become clear only after release.

Controversy Surrounding ‘Toxic’

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic drew attention soon after its teaser release. Some bold visuals in the initial teaser sparked controversy, prompting the makers to issue a revised version. Despite the debate, the film has maintained strong traction on social media platforms.

High Expectations From ‘Dhurandhar 2’

Ranveer Singh’s earlier film Dhurandhar received a positive response, raising anticipation for the sequel. Dhurandhar 2is directed by Aditya Dhar and features an ensemble cast including Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Rakesh Bedi.

Both films are reportedly inspired by real events, adding further intrigue to the cinematic face-off. With two big stars and contrasting narratives, the upcoming clash promises to be closely watched by the industry and audiences alike.
