Rae Bareli: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Rae Bareli MP Rahul Gandhi began a two-day visit to his parliamentary constituency on Tuesday, with the District Congress Committee confirming he was scheduled to arrive in Rae Bareli around 3:30 pm, where a grand welcome has been planned for him.
Multiple Reception Points Planned Across Constituency
According to District Congress Committee president Pankaj Tiwari, Rahul Gandhi will be welcomed at several locations, including the Sabzi Mandi Gumawan border, Shivgarh block, the UCO Bank branch at Halor, Maharajganj block, the Maharajganj Tiraha police outpost, Hardaspur crossing in Amawan block, and the roundabout near Saras Hotel, with programmes also organised across Shivgarh, Maharajganj, Amawan and Rae Bareli town.
Gandhi to Chair DISHA Meeting, Review Central Schemes
During his two-day visit, Rahul Gandhi will preside over a meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) and review the progress of central government schemes in the region. He is also expected to visit flood-affected areas of the constituency during his tour.
