Ranchi: Ranchi’s Birsa Munda Airport witnessed the launch of two major campaigns on Thursday, marked by a vibrant performance of the traditional Kadsa folk dance and a collective rendition of “Vande Mataram,” as the “Yatri Seva Abhiyan” and “Swachhata Hi Seva” initiatives were formally inaugurated, focusing on passenger services and cleanliness across the airport premises.
Cultural Welcome Marks Arrival Terminal Ceremony
At the arrival terminal, passengers were given a cultural welcome, with women dressed in traditional attire performing tilak ceremonies using brass urns, plates and flowers. The Kadsa folk dance, performed by local artists to the beat of the dhol, added a special touch to the occasion.
Airport Staff Sing Vande Mataram Together
Following the cultural presentation, the campaigns were formally launched, with airport management officials and staff coming together enthusiastically to sing “Vande Mataram” collectively.
Campaigns Aim to Improve Passenger Experience and Cleanliness
The “Yatri Seva Abhiyan” aims to enhance the passenger experience at the airport by providing prompt assistance and quality services, while the “Swachhata Hi Seva” initiative will carry out extensive cleanliness drives to keep the entire airport premises clean and well-maintained.
