Adityapur: By next year, all the facilities that are available at any major station will be provided at Adityapur railway station. At present 1000 square meter area is being developed and given a new look by the Railway Development Corporation. After the approval for the design of the new main building of Adityapur station, its work has been expedited. According to Lalitesh Kumar, Deputy GM, Railway Vikas Nigam Limited, a target has been set to complete the new form of the station by 2022. First class and second class waiting hall will also be included in the new facilities being developed by the Railway Vikas Nigam at Adityapur station, so that passengers do not face any inconvenience in waiting for trains. Along with this, the booking counter is also being developed, to ensure the safety of the passengers, an RPF office is also being constructed here. In the coming time, some trains are also likely to start operating from here. It is possible that the parcel office, godown and shed will be shifted here in future from Tatanagar.
At present, many trains do not stop at Adityapur railway station, electrical and signal rooms will also be built here to prepare for the coming times. In addition, the parcel office, incoming-outgoing parcel warehouse will also be revamped. Keeping in mind to increase the facilities of the passengers, the facility of baby care room, cafeteria and stall will also be provided here. Along with the station manager’s office, ATM construction, Railway Development Corporation is paying attention to every detail keeping in mind the passenger amenities.
104 trees will be cut, 1040 will be planted
To develop the new look of the station, 104 trees will have to be cut. In lieu of this, Railway Development Corporation has planned to plant ten times i.e. 1040 saplings. Along with this, the responsibility of taking care of the plants for three years will also be taken up by the Railways.
