Ranchi: The state government’s sports centres will now be open to the public. The Sports Directorate made this decision with the approval of Jharkhand’s Department of Home, Prison, and Disaster Management. Apart from all Day-boarding Centres and residential centres managed under the Directorate, the Jharkhand Sports Authority will open all Pay and Play Sports Training Centres, Krida Kislay Centre, Hotwar (Ranchi), and Eklavya Archery Centre and Eklavya Archery Centre, Dudhani (Dumka). The decision was made to open these centres immediately in the athletes’ best interests.
Trainers who visit the sports centres must have at least one Covid-19 vaccine. Before attending training, all trainees over the age of 18 must have received at least one vaccine. However, for individuals who are younger than this, it is not required. The district administration will conduct random COVID-19 tests of trainees, trainers, and other professionals from time to time.
