Ranchi, Sept.28: Chief Minister (CM) Hemant Soren today flagged off 60 mobile vaccination vans, Tika Express, from the old assembly building campus in Dhurwa in the Jharkhand capital.
The Tika Express, behind which there exists a support of Care India, will go to those places of the 24 districts of the state where people have problems in reaching the vaccination centres.
Its purpose is to expedite the rate of vaccination in the state where so far as many as 1.70 crore people have got the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine and as many as 40 lakh have got the second dose.
CM Soren while flagging off the mobile vaccination vans stressed upon the strict adherence to Covid-19 protocol saying the risk of pandemic still persists and it can be reduced only by following physical distancing norms other than the use of masks and sanitizers.
He said that the vaccines developed by the scientists will help give people security against diseases whose medicine has not been developed so far.
