BSNL celebrates Foundation Day in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Oct 4: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited ( BSNL) today celebrated its 22nd Foundation Day at a function organised at hotel Golden Iris  in Golmuri.

The chief guest on the occasion was chief general manager ( CGM) of  Jharkhand Circle,  K.K.Singh. He was accompanied by his wife.

The meeting was attended by senior officers of BSNL including  general manager of Jamshedpur Business Area, Sanjeev Verma and other telecom partners of BSNL Jamshedpur.

BSNL has entered into a collaborative model with various cluster partners to boost fibre-to-the-home  ( FTTH) sale.

This has resulted in significant growth of FTTH business, resulting in positive growth.

During the function, the chief general manager felicitated the officers of Jamshedpur for their outstanding performance.

The function saw felicitation of four FTTH cluster partners for their significant contribution in the Elite 500 plus FTTH connections club scheme.

They included M/s Tech Services, M/s SBP Enterprises, M/s Jaiswal Vision and M/s Sky Star Broadband.

For ensuring round the clock availability of technical expertise to take care of customer services issue, a one network Command Centre for Network Operation (CCNO) became operational in Kadma Telephone Exchange from October 1.

General manager of Jamshedpur Business Area Sanjeev Verma said this is the first such initiative in Jharkhand circle and very few Business Areas across the country have such facility.

On the occasion BSNL also made aware its subscribers about the recently launched  festival  offers.

During the function, a two-minute silence was observed in memory of the five BSNL officials who lost their lives due to Covid-19.

General manager Sanjeev Verma thanked all stakeholders for making the celebration a success.
