New Delhi, Oct 21: Fuel prices were hiked for the second consecutive day across the country on Thursday. In the national capital, both petrol and diesel prices have risen by 35 paise each.

In Delhi, petrol and diesel will be sold at Rs 106.54 per litre and Rs 95.27 per litre respectively, whereas in Mumbai, petrol costs Rs 112.44 per litre and diesel costs Rs 103.26 per litre.

Similarly, in Kolkata the petrol will be sold at Rs 107.12 per litre and diesel will be sold at Rs. 98.38 per litre. In Chennai petrol price stands for Rs. 103.61 per litre and Rs. 99.50 per litre for diesel.

The Central government is in talks with several oil-exporting countries on the issue of supply and demand of oils but there is no possibility of immediate relief in prices.

International crude oil has crossed $ 85 per barrel. Earlier in the year 2018, crude oil reached $ 85. Experts believe that crude oil can go up to $ 90 in the coming days. This can make petrol and diesel more expensive.
