Dubai, Nov 3: Two successive half centuries in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup2021, helped Pakistan Captain Babar Azam to overtake England’s David Malan and grab the no 1 position for Batters in the ICC Men’s T20 player rankings.

Babar’s tally of 834 rating points keeps him 36 points ahead of Malan. Interestingly, he is also ranked no 1 in ODIs. At the same time, Indian team captain Virat Kohli remains at number 5 and opener KL Rahul remains at number 8. Notably, Virat is in the top-5 in all three formats of cricket.

In the bowlers’ list, the top four are all wrist spinners, with Sri Lanka leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga on the top. He has topped the bowling charts with 776 ratings for the first time in his career after two successive three-wicket hauls against South Africa and England.

Meanwhile, at the top of the all-rounder’s table, Mohammad Nabi has caught up with Shakib Hasan on 271 rating points.
